XR Avatar Scanner for Austin Formula 1 Races at the Domain NORTHSIDE

Rev up your engines, Austin! Domain NORTHSIDE hired Groove Jones to bring our XR Avatar Station to welcome race fans in Austin for the Formula 1 Races. Fans had the chance to step inside the XR Avatar Scanner™ to get scanned in celebration of Formula 1 weekend in Austin. The portable volumetric 3D scanner creates fun, shareable, and personalized hologram avatars that place you right on the racetrack!

The XR Avatar Station™ was located at 11701 Domain Blvd beginning Friday, October 25th through Sunday, November 3.

This activation is free and open to the public. Participants can select from two CGI scenes that will place them in a virtual Formula 1 environment creating the experience of what it’s like to speed around the track or celebrate in the Winner’s Circle. The system will then deliver an animated movie file for guests to keep and share on social media.
