Polk County High School and Polk County Middle School students had an exciting few days experiencing the Be Pro Be Proud NC Mobile Unit.
The Be Pro Be Proud NC unit is a 75-foot tractor-trailer that offers a range of interactive experiences, including truck driver simulators, lineman simulators, welding simulators, dump truck simulators, crane simulators, and VR headsets that showcase plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.
The tools and resources available in the unit are designed to give students an opportunity to explore and plan for careers in a wide range of technical fields.
