Comparing the Nokia OZO and the InstaPro 360 @ the Groove Jones office

What are the differences in video quality between the Nokia Ozo and the InstaPro 360 for creating 360º virtual reality videos?

We shoot with all types of cameras and it often takes time, having hands on experience to fully understand their capabilities. Sometimes we are dealing with different lighting challenges or event size constraints. So finding and using the right camera system is important.

These are both “commercial” grade cameras. We own both the Nokia OZA and the InstaPro 360. We use both of them for specific shoots. To compare them, we decided to do a side-by-side comparison of the video quality using the standard settings available. We shot in various environments – outdoors, in the shade, and in direct sunlight. We also shot inside the Groove Jones office in areas that had good light as well as in some darker areas, like near our bar and kitchen area.

None of these clips have been color-corrected or cleaned up. This is the raw stitch results.
